Casting likes to rely on certain performers for certain kinds of Casting Hits. This is great for your resume, but you can get pigeon-holed into playing the same role over and over. Anna Hopkins rules the Dark Temptress world. I love her in Bad Blood and Shadowhunters, but I'd cast her myself as the girl next door! If you can blur the lines between light and dark, strength and vulnerability the way Anna does, you've got a career. And it doesn't hurt if the camera loves you!
